Low mood
Low mood can make ordinary things feel harder and can reduce your energy, concentration and motivation. On difficult days, focus on small actions rather than trying to fix everything at once.
Things you can try
- Keep one or two basic routines going, such as getting up, washing, eating and leaving the house.
- Choose one manageable task instead of trying to catch up with everything.
- Spend some time with another person, even if you do not feel very sociable.
- Get outside during daylight if you can.
- Tell someone if you have been feeling low for a while.
When to ask for more help
